Default Send Object Method (VBA) or CDO for emailing - 01-14-2009 , 10:05 AM

As I recall the SendObject method (VBA)doesn't work in Access 2000.

Is that fixed in Access 2003 or 2007?

If it isn't fixed, is CDO installed by all versions of Windows or would I
need to include it in my install package (if even possible)

SendObject is good if you are sending Access reports but not is you are
sending external items like word or excel or pdf files.

Incorrect. There might have been some bugs that were fixed with some
patches, but other than that SendObject works fine in 2000.

CDOSys (what I use) is included in all versions of Windows from Windows
2000 and up.
