Default Report page size question - 11-30-2010 , 03:36 AM

Hi Everyone,

Is there a way that the page setup properties for a report, such as
page size, orientation, margins can be obtained without needing to
open the report in design view? I am hoping that this info might live
in a system table somewhere or similar. The goal is to refine a report
to powerpoint block of code I have written (which I must say I am
quite proud of!). If the only way is through design mode then I have
to re-write a large chunk of code - possible but annoying. I am hoping
someone knows a shortcut or alternative method to this.

Cheers

See help on PrtMip, PrtDevMode, etc.

You need to open the report to read these, but I don't think it has to be in
design view.

In A2002, you can examine the properties of the Printer object, but that
won't necessarily tell you about a specific report's properties.

Ah, read only in non design view. I didn't know that.

Thanks for posting the URL.
