First, I assume you've uploaded the database itself to the web site. If you
have, it sounds like you need to set the DSN pointer on your site host's
system. If you have this ability (and should especially if your hosting is
Windows), you should be able to access it from the Control Panel or Admin
Page. Check your site host's Help area or call their tech support.

This may sound stupid but here goes.

I've created a data access page which I need to update to a frontpage web
page. No problems so far. Move to the web page and then perform a
publish
web. Of course when I view the web in Internet Explorer it finds the
Access
database but on any other PC it can't because the web page expects the
database to be on my PC's local drive.

Now the question: How do I make the data access page look for the access
database on the web server?

Any help is much appreciated.

A newbie to Microsoft Access and FrontPage
