Default Quick Question about Access 2010 command button shading/color gradient - 08-18-2011 , 05:07 AM

Hi all,

When you first place a new command button in Access 2010, with themes
turned on, it has a nice 3-d effect with some color gradient and
shading across it. However, if you make any change to the Color
settings in Properties, it loses that color gradient and looks flat
with a uniform color.

Is there a way to retrieve this 3-d effect after you have changed any
of the color settings?

Many thanks,

Franc.

Have you tried
Format -> Shape Effects -> Bevel

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the tip. I tried the Bevel effects and it wasn't quite
what I was after, but at the bottom of the Shape Fill menu was
Gradient and that did the trick. Wouldn't have found it if you hadn't
suggested the Bevel.
Cheers,
Franc.
