Default Problem with Trust centre on virtual server - 06-20-2011 , 08:33 PM

Hi all,

I have an application running on a virtual server, Windows 2008
Server. Clients log in via remote desktop and run an Access 2007
runtime application on their mapped z drive. I have added the location
to the Trust Centre, both the z:\appfolder and the \\server\appfolder,
but still clients get the security warning when opening the
application (It is not possible to determine that this content came
from a trustworthy source ... bla bla). I have checked that the
correct registry entry has been added to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office
\12.0\Access\Security\Trusted Locations. The same method works
perfectly well on the many PCs I've tried it on. I've also tried
adding the details to HKLM.

Anyone have any idea how to get rid of the security warning?

Owen

Found the solution - a VBA registry tweak.
