Default Is it possible to switch off the sort arrow on a datasheet? - 02-28-2011 , 09:10 AM

I have converted a large Access2000 program into Access2010. By and
large it went over Ok except for twenty or so queries which had to be
re-created.

However I have several forms with subforms that are datasheets. Some
of these have 6 columns that are tickboxes with a single character
heading. In 2010 the black sort arrow doubles the size required which
is a disaster for the screen setup. The six tickboxes now require that
the screen size is nothing like large enough and in most cases cannot
be widened.

help appreciated.

( I do have to say that the Access2000 working environment is easier
and quicker to use than the 2010 version. The 2010 versions are
different but not getting any better after weeks of use. I don't
regard many of the changes to be improvements. There's a lot of
scrolling about to locate forms, queries etc. I've only changed to
update the programs and hopefully have a more robust backend database.)
