Default Pick an input for date with mouse to text box - 10-14-2008 , 11:22 PM

Gina asks:

I have a form in Access 2003 with a textbox to accept a date. The format
is shortdate and I have set the default to Date(). Is it possible to
have a calender appear so that I can pick a date with the mouse.

There are several free popup calendars on the 'net.

Here's one:

with links to some others.

You could go to
http://www.mvps.org/access/_vti_bin/...exe/search.htm and search for
Calendar.

You could also search http://groups.google.com/advanced_search?q=& and
search for Calendar. http://www.lebans.com/monthcalendar.htm is one
hit, I'm sure there are many others.

I use the DblClick event of the textbox to pull up the calendar that I use.
