Default paste error - 03-25-2010 , 03:42 PM

Hi,
I'm using Access as a Mysql front-end via odbc.
I made a form on a connected table and an update query is used to set
null some fields and to set the current date [date()] in another
field.
Every time i use this update query Access say that there is a "paste
error and an error table was created..."
What is wrong?
Have I to set the odbc driver?
Thank you very much for help.

does the paste errors table show you what the error is ?
if you just open the table and try to key it the data, do you get an
error ?

Access only shows a generic paste error, and I've no experience with
it.
In the paste errors table there are some of the record's fields copied
in.
In which way should I try to key it the data?
Are there some tests or a log file for check the procedure?
Thank you for help.
