Have just installed Office SP1 and a perfectly stable Db now keeps crashing. I thought Decompile had fixed it, but the Db seems to open OK the first time, and without doing anything crashes thereafter. Anyone else having this problem? Phil |

MS recommends against installing the 64-bit version unless you have a compelling reason to do so (such as the extra memory you could use if, for instance, you have a mammoth Excel spreadsheet that was a memory hog). Also, it's been pretty clear that Office 2010 SP1 is a dog and nobody should install it. This has been clear from the initial release. The one good thing is that it's possible to remove it without requiring a re-install. -- David W. Fenton http://www.dfenton.com/ contact via website only http://www.dfenton.com/DFA/ |
