Default NameMap = Begin - 07-16-2010 , 10:34 AM

Using Application.SaveAsText for a Form.

Is there a way to decode the NameMap section or know how to change it
if I add a field or delete field from the form by changing the begin
and end textbox data?

I wouldn't recommend manipulating the results of SaveAsText, as it's
undocumented and who knows what the results might be.

Holy blasts from the pasts! How are you David? Nice to see you still
clicking around these parts.

Do you know what the NameMap is?

I'm running a diff on SaveAsText dumps from two version of the same
MDB, and the only differences I don't understand are in the NameMap
section. Any idea if it's safe to ignore those differences?

Jeremy

Hey! Nice to see you, too! Every time I have to explain why I work
alone, I mention you as the one Access developer in NYC I've ever
been able to work with!

What version of Access? I just did a SaveAsText on a relatively
complicated form in A2003 and there was no NameMap in it.

I wonder if it's something to do with Name AutoCorrupt?
