Default Module or Library for API declarations - 02-03-2011 , 04:04 AM

Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone has or knows of a library that contains
all the API declarations (or at least the most used). I get tired of
digging them up (my fault I know) and simply want to be done with it
and place them all in a single module or reference mdb. Does anyone
have or know of such a thing or am I going to be busy on this for a
while........

Cheers

I just realised you asked not for a reference, but a library you can
reference <g>. Sorry.

There used to be a .tlb file located at practicalvb.com but it seems to have
slipped quietly away.

There is the All API guide that gives the declarations in VB/VBA:

Google for "ApiGuideSetup.exe" and you might find it still out there in the
wild.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I think the API guide
mbyerley referenced can be found here http://allapi.mentalis.org/agnet/apiguide.shtml

Yep. That's the one. A few years back it was at www.allapi.net , but
absent at that site now. It is an invaluable resource if you use API calls
often.

I use the Win32 SDK Reference Help file along with the API Viewer at:

http://www.activevb.de/rubriken/apiv...viewereng.html

A module containing almost all the commonly used API functions?
That's an interesting idea.

Email them and see if you can get an "ApiGuideSetup.ex_" sent to you.
