Default Magic Text Space Insertion - 01-04-2005 , 09:29 AM

Access 2000 - Table with text column

eg Name Text 100 (chars)

When a particular name is entered, either directly into the table or into a
combo box object,
looking it up on a form, that name, is reformatted with a space.

eg I enter Fred Smith - ok
Myrtle Simpson-Browne-Smythe - ok
but Joan Billingworth -> Joan Billing worth - with the space,
is redisplayed, every time.

Very mysterious!!

Any suggestions?

it might have something to do with AutoCorrect. Click Tools, Options,
Spelling, and AutoCorrect Options and see if there is an entry there
for Billingworth.
