- Develop use case models, high level and detail design artifacts

- Implement, integrate, test and deploy components

Minimum requirements:

- 5-10 years of development experience in Java, J2EE

- Experience using one or more frameworks such as Spring, Java
Persistent Architecture (JPA), Hibernate, JSP/JSF, Servlets, EJB, XML,
Web Services

- Experience using Java IDEs such as Eclipse, MyEclipse, NetBeans or
JBuilder.

- Experience with deployment tools to package and deploy components

Desired skills:

- Experience with Java Web Services, JWS/JAX, Component Based
Architecture

- Database access using JDBC/ODBC connectors

- Understand modeling concepts such as UML use cases, interaction
diagrams, state diagrams, class and object definitions

- Familiarity with IBM Rational Clearcase UCM, ClearQuest, Requisite
Pro and Rose are all a plus);

- Knowledge of C++, Oracle, SQL/PL SQL

Relevant Business & Technical Skills:

- Strong analytical, design and debugging skills

- Effective in team setting or as individual contributor

- Ability to multi-task

- Ability to develop design , test and deployment documentation

- Ability to work in teams

- Passion for becoming a J2EE architect

Education:

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
