Default IsTrusted Property - 03-26-2009 , 08:38 AM

Suddenly today, when I open an Access 2000 MDE database in Access
2007, I get a Error #2950 on the AutoExec macro.

When I look this up on the Microsoft Knowledgebase, I get this
article: <http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931407>.

However, when I move the database to my C:\ drive, and tell Access
that my C:\ drive is a trusted location, opening the MDE file still
gives me the 2950 error.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Try moving it down from the root into another folder, e.g.
C:\Data

Then specifically trust that folder:
* Office Button (top left)
* Access Options (bottom of dialog)
* Trust Center (left)
* Trust Center Settings (button)
* Trusted Locations (left)
* Add new location (button)

Haven't tested, but you may find that it is not willing to trust the entire
hard disk.
