Folks - Pardon me if this is an FAQ or something really weird. I have been stumped in this area for one year and I have no where else to ask immediately I have Visual Studio 2005 on a Windows XP pro machine SP3 along with MS office with Access. I have been going thru the loops of setting the machine up so I can produce runtime applications of what I develop. This is pretty close to what I did long ago when I got my old PC set up ( it was an NT Box ) I have followed the directions I think that microsoft has on its webbsite, but no results. How do you do this? Please help. |

I believe the Microsoft Visual Studio® Tools for the Microsoft Office System is different than Visual Studio 2005. |

The (free) Access 2007 Runtime will, I believe, execute an Access 2003 database. |

Some have said that you have to have a copy of Access 2007 to obtain the Access 2007 runtime, but I've heard others debate whether that is so. Even if you do, then that is still likely to be the least-expensive solution. |
