Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by this. No, I don't want to
create an Access report. I want to create a list for a combobox.
This list is based on a table and is used in other comboboxes. The
user wants "N/A" to be an option in this particular combobox but not
in others. Creating a union query was the only way I could think of
to accomplish this.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by this. No, I don't want
to create an Access report. I want to create a list for a
combobox. This list is based on a table and is used in other
comboboxes. The user wants "N/A" to be an option in this
particular combobox but not in others. Creating a union query was
the only way I could think of to accomplish this.
Sorry -- I think I mixed up your post with someone else's, where the
request was for a totals row.

The UNION is the correct way to do this, yes. It's a FAQ, actually
(i.e., a question we see quite often).
