Default Help Needed With Report Printing Problem - 09-30-2010 , 04:34 AM

I've installed an A2003 database at several sites and the problem I'm
about to describe is only showing itself at one site. The problem
also does not appear in my test environment. I'm assuming it must
have something to do with printer setup or drivers for the printers
being used at that particular site.

When a report is previewed on the screen it looks fine, but when the
report is printed the font is larger and the text in some text boxes
is cut off on the right side similar to if a column in Excel isn't
wide enough. The text in the text boxes is multiple lines and all
lines have the truncation on the right of the text box.

If the report is sent to pdf using the Lebans "Report To PDF" code,
the resulting PDF looks fine on the screen and also prints fine with
the correct size font.

Are there any common printer setup problems that can cause this type
of behavior?

A fontont is not available on the printer. The printer then uses a
similar font, usually a slightly larger one.

Are all True Type fonts available to a printer, if not, how do you determine
which fonts are availabe?

Had a similar problem

From what I've been able to find so far, this problem seems to
manifest on Fuju Xerox printers. Anybody else seeing this?

Nailed it. Xerox printers don't seem to like the "MS Sans Serif" font
and replace it with something else. Changing the textbox font to
"Arial" fixed the problem.
