So, I just pointing out we see a trend towards more web like and also that of more "touch" friendly UI. In fact we seeing the ribbon lends VERY well to tablet and touch based UI where as cascading menu bars work VERY poorly on tablets. That's nice, but what database software for tablets is being written with MS Access? And/Or what "real" software is run on a tablet? Thanks again Albert! -paul |

And FileMaker now has the ability to create apple iPad software. |

And if you been reading news, certainly windows 8 is going to allow one to work using a UI with more touch features. |

And while I am under NDA, I can safely say that future trends for most software we use will include some improved ability for working with tablets. |
