Default exporting to access - 03-28-2009 , 07:49 AM

I have spent the past two years creating an herbal database with
photos of the herb in a container field. When I try to export the file
to access, since more people have access instead of filemaker. I get
an error message saying it cannot export the container field. Any
ideas how I can do this and not loose all the photos?

Put all your pictures in a separate folder and make the pictures bitmap. You
can then display the pictures in a form or report with an image control (see
the toolbox). In the image control, set the Picture property to the FULL
path to the picture you want to display.

You can use Jpgs.

Worth patching the registry (You will probably have a "Yes" for this key)
and you get an annoying "Loading picture" message

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\ Shared Tools\Graphics
Filters\Import\JPEG\Options ShowProgressDialog No
