an error occurred while attempting to open the windows address book - 10-11-2008 , 04:31 AM

When trying to email a report I get the following error message

"an error occurred while attempting to open the windows address book MAPI
1.0 [00000220]

Can anyone suggest a solution. This has been no problem in the past. I am
using Office 2000 SP3
