Default Datasheets - 08-28-2011 , 04:32 PM

I like datasheets.

In Access I usually create a main form and in its header it typically
contains a logo along with checkboxes, dropdowns, date filters, and
key filters. At the bottom of the form I add some command buttons.

In the Detail section I then drop in a datasheet. Although I have a
GoTo command button in the footer, if one dbl-clicks on the data in
the row I open a defail form.

IOW, I present the data and provide a variety of methods to view the
data.

And with the Office 2007 and Office 2010 color formats it looks really
nice.

It seems most everybody is familiar with a spreadsheet. And I was
wondering why datasheets can't be inserted into the HTML? I was at a
site today and it took about 4-5 pages just to get to the relevent
data. I feel there has to be a better way to find and view data and
have it presented with an Office feel.
