Default Create calendar in Access 2007 - 12-27-2011 , 01:14 PM

I'm looking to create a scheduling program for appointments. I was
looking at the ActiveX components in Access 2007 and couldn't find
anything
that I was looking for. I'm trying to recreate the Outlook calendar
in
Access 2007. Does anybody know of a way to recreate this or an
activex that
would do this?

Can't help with the outlook calendar, but I wrote a pretty Access 2010
Calendar program, even had a help file; took a week to write and then my son
said "Why don't you use Google Calendars? I could have killed him. Phil

Hi Phil,

Did you get Google Calendar to interface with Access? If so, how (if
you don't mind).

You could try Studio Controls or Solutions Schedule from DBI-Tech
(http://www.dbi-tech.com/ProductPage_...ntrolsCOM.aspx)

But they are expensive, and support and upgrades are outrageous too
(especially considering new versions contain very little and if you
don't keep up with their support and the latest version, they will
eventually not help you). And I think their licensing, although it
may be industry standard - according to them, is ridiculous.

I have done some very nice Gantt style calendars with Solutions
Schedule. There is a learning curve for sure. Their documention is
pretty lousy.
