Default Corruption? - 11-26-2007 , 02:00 PM

I'm redesigning a report in my frontend. When I move a text object,
sometimes Access gives a message that Access has to be closed. After opening
or compact and repair the mdb works fine again. Do I have to worry about
this? Should I move all the objects to a new mdb?
Thank you.
John

What you could try first is:
You could open your mdb with a /decompile. That might fix it. Compact
after decompile, then remove the decompile switch and see if it works.
If not.

When the mdb opens then open a new report and the current report in
design mode. Then highlight all objects per band in the current report
and drop them in the new report. Then do the same for the code. Close
the reports and rename the new report to the old report name. Then compact.

If that doesn't work you can try bringing over all the objects to a new mdb.
