Default Controlling Form Size - 12-17-2004 , 01:03 PM

I have a form ‘Main’ and it is maximised, on the form is a command button to
open another form over the top I always want it to open in a window
restored, currently sometimes it opens maximised and sometimes it opens
restored. If it opens maximised and I then click restore the ‘Main’ form
also restores I want the main form always set to maximise. I have tried
attaching a macro (Action Restore) to the on open property of the other form
which works but the main form also restores.

How can I ensure that the main form is always maximised and any other forms
open restored over the top of it?

Thanks

Go into the properties of the form(s) you want to open up on top, click the
'Other' tab and set the 'Pop Up' property to 'Yes'. If you want to, also
change the 'Modal' property to 'Yes' to prevent the user clicking on
anything on the main form.
