The Combo boxes drop down with the F4 key when they're on a main form,
but not when they're on a sub form.

They dropped down in Access97 and Access2003, so why the change in
Access2010?

not good sources for "why" questions -- but are excellent sources for "what"
and "how" information. We here, even if we've been "recognized" by
Microsoft as "MVPs" for our contributions to the user community, do not work
for Microsoft and aren't privy to "why" they may have done something.

Have you done an Internet search and/or a search of the Microsoft Knowledge
Base at http://support.microsoft.com? It's possible that this is a "known
problem" or that someone has found a workaround.
