Button in access to call a shortcut rather than an exe file

I would like to call an external program from a button in Access - I have
one set up at the moment but it calls a program.exe type file - I would
like to call a shortcut instead as I can then set a 'Start In' folder whicg
I need to do.

Any help appreciated.
