Default Adding fields in forms - 09-28-2011 , 11:44 AM

Hi all,
This is probably a silly question, but I'm fairly new to it and cannot
find an answer anywhere!
My question is, after I have created a new form (using wizard to
select the fields I require), is there a way of adding more fields to
be used for text boxes or other controls?
I've brought up the field list and the field in a new table doesn't
appear. When I click the form button (top left) in design view, I have
some tables listed in the record source but adding them there stops
the rest of the form working.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Mandu

Note that older books on access can often be obtained from Amazon's
third party sellers in good/very good/excellent condition for a fraction
of the original new price.
