Default Adding Fields to a Form - 07-27-2009 , 03:14 PM

I'm a novice Access 2007 user trying to modify an existing Form with 3
pages. I've added fields in the table, and then added new fields to
p. 1 of the form. But the fields are also showing up on p. 2 and p.
3. Can I get them to only show up on p. 1?

When you say "page", are you referring to a tab control page? If so,
you need to make sure that when you add a field to the tab page, that
the background of the tab page highlights to indicate that the field
is actually on the page. Otherwise, you just put the field on top of
the whole tab control, so it looks like it shows up on all pages. If
the field is already on the form and you are trying to drag the field
into the page, I have yet to find a reliable way to do that. I always
Cut and Paste the field onto the tab at the top of the page, that
seems to be the only way I've found to get it to move controls already
on the form into a page.
