Default Access window does not open in correct position - 01-14-2011 , 02:09 PM

HI All,

I hope I explain this correctly............... I have a dual monitor
workspace

I open my Access XP application and it opens on my main
screen(screen1), on the main screen is a button that when clicked
opens a second Access XP application on screen2. I do what I need to
in the second application and close it. I then close my main
application which is still on screen1.
The next time I open Access or even an Access application it opens on
screen2 not screen1 and I don't understand why that is given that I
closed the app that was on screen2 first and then closed the app that
was on screen1.

any ideas???
bobh.

Hi Bobh,

Did your screen1 receive the focus back again before closing?

I don't have an answer, but also have dual monitors and see the exact same
problem with Access 2007. I am guessing that it is a Windows thing.

HiBobh,

Did your screen1 receive the focus back again before closing?

Yes, I closed the Access app that was open on screen 1 last.
