SharePoint is useful for those who want an easy, but restricted, use for the
Internet. If you want a full featured Internet app, use ASP or ASP.NET, with
a back-end using Access or, for more security and robustness, SQL-Server.

Has any one ever used Sharepoint as a backend for Access? Are there
any benefits to Sharepoint over SQL server?
Very general question I know, but I know nothing about Sharepoint and
just wanted to gather a bit more understanding.
