I've created an access program that's used by 5 people.
Two of the individuals have lower screen resolutions that makes it
difficult to utilize the program as written

Is there any way to reset the resolution when the program opens and
when set back upon exiting?

It looks like there may be some freeware out there that provides a
module that will do this. Anyone have any experience with these, or
any other suggestions on how to solve this.

You should never change user settings. Yours will seldom be the only program
that'll be running, so your change will impact more than your application.
As well, some users may require the lower resolution, due to vision
problems.

A far more palatable solution is to put in code to resize your forms to
match your users' resolution.

There's sample code to do this in Access Developer's xx Handbook by Litwin,
Getz and Gilbert et al (where xx is whatever's appropriate for the version
of Access you're using). You can learn more about their books at

They've also produced an MDE version of the code that you can download from
http://www.developershandbook.com/downloads.htm and use in your application.

Another option is to purchase ShrinkerStretch from Peter De Baets

but I don't know anything about this specific code.
