Default Access and Exporting to XML - 07-17-2009 , 08:48 PM

Using a simple example like an order and the order details, how can I
save/export to an XML file?

One the one-side of an order I might have
Order Data
Customer Date
Saleman's Data

On the many-side of the order I'd have the order detail.

There'd be one or many orders to make up the data for the file.

In help, it says:
"Note When you export a table to an XML document, you can also export
related tables. For example, if you export a table of Customers Orders,
you can also choose to export a related Orders Details table and
Customers table into the same file."

If you have some insight on how to do that, I like to hear it.

Also, have you ever used ReportML?

As I've just found that your question still remains unanswered, let me try
to assist you with a link. On the site of the Denver Area Access Users Group
(DAAUG) you may find a presentation from Tim Getsch (Program Manager at MS)
which included some samples :

Practical Ways to Use XML with Access 2003

http://www.daaug.org/download.asp

Hope you find some incitations within it ....
