Default A2K Error 2427 - big roadblock, need help! - 03-09-2011 , 09:18 AM

On occasion and for no apparent reason, I get error 2427 when I open my form
which has a subform containing the data. The data is definitely there.

But the only reason for this would be if there *was* no data.

It errors out on some controls that calculate totals in the form footer.

Just to be explicit;
Run-time error '2427'
You entered an expression that has no value.

So the control that is calculating a total using an aggregated function
based on the recordsource and then feeding it to another control is where
it's falling over. It can only fall over if it can't find data. But the
data is there. Yes I'm going mad with this.

Interestingly, I just justed Allow Deletions to No and Data Entry to No and
the form loads without error but still no data being displayed.

I really need help on this, because otherwise it was all going to well!

thanks
Martin

Made a new subform which shows the data. Really odd. So I recreate that
subform from scratch and try again. Is it possible that a subform can have
an intermittent problem with its recordsource? Corruption of some sort,
though that doesn't sound totally convincing even as I write it.
