Hi All Just some info ... apologies if this is general knowledge! For the first time (as far as I can remember) I needed to produce a report where the data was grouped to produce weekly totals in a report with monthly or quarterly (or even annual) data. I thought I'd have to create some date functions and be quite sneaky in order to do this. I was VERY gratified to find that A2010 reports have built-in options to group (on an existing date field, naturally) by week, month, qtr etc. Brilliant! This has saved me having to think ... at my age a great advance. I am not aware of this functionality in earlier versions (maybe it was there and I never saw it). Anyway, it's an excellent feature and I commend it to the house ... JB |

FYI That feature has been around since at least Access 97.
