I find it is usally the last one and usually the only one with status
CS_COMPUTABLE
(unless someone else is using iimonitor also)

Hi David,
I don't think you could do that reliably with just 'show
sessions'...although in most likelihood, the iimonitor session will be
the last session listed, but that's only on the initial connection..with
lots of 'ifs' thrown in.
You really need to run 'show user sessions formatted' and find the one
with:
Activity: (Monitor Session)

Subject: [Info-Ingres] IIMONITOR question
Hi
We use an old Ingres version on Alpha/VMS, II 2.0/0308.
When I'm in IIMONITOR and run the "show sessions" command, is there any
way I can identify my own session ID (in other words the session ID of
the IIMONITOR) ?
Thanks
David Greenberg
