Default Queensland Ingres User Group Ingres Corporation Visit - 03-19-2009 , 01:25 PM

Hi,

The Queensland Ingres User Group (in Queensland, Australia) is hosting
a visit from Ingres Corporation on Wednesday 1 April and I have
included the details of this below.

It wil be held at level 5, AXA building, 144 Edward Street, Brisbane.
Come into the AXA building (corner of Charlotte and Edward Streets),
go to the lifts to level 5 and there will be a QIUG sign on the only
door from there. You will be let in and given a security pass. This is
a valuable opportunity to find out the plans of Ingres Corporation and
ask some questions about the range of Ingres Corp's projects,
enhancements, appliances and partnerships; also an opportunity to mix
with the Queensland Ingres community.

Please RSVP if you would like to come to the address on the QIUG's
website (www.qiug.org.au). This will help us plan for the amount of
catering.

If you would like to be added to our mailing list for these meetings
and the QIUG newsletters, please email me on the address on the QIUG's
website (www.qiug.org.au).

Thanks,
John Howell
President, Qld Ingres User Group.

Ingres Corporation Update – Marc Titmuss and Mark Dempsey from Ingres
Corporation.

Marc Titmuss is the Director of Services for Ingres Corporation in
Australia and New Zealand. Mark Dempsey is the Regional Director of
Australia and New Zealand for NSW and Qld.

Marc and Mark will be telling us what Ingres Corporation has been
doing recently and what they will be doing in the future, with
emphasis on:

· Ingres Corporation’s Business Approach in Australia and New
Zealand.
· Geospatial community (link),
· Ingres Support Appliance, and
· future plans for Ingres Corporation Appliances.

This will give us valuable insight into the activities of Ingres
Corporation in Australia and the development of new features in Ingres
and new appliances built around Ingres.
If you have any questions about these topics that you would like to
ask, send them to me at the address on the QIUG website
(www.qiug.org.au) and we’ll give them to Marc well before the meeting.
Of course, as always, you are free to ask questions at the meeting.
