Apologies fellow Ingres professionals, but I'm looking for Ingres
work. Ideally I'm looking for a permanent post, but would consider
long-term contract work. I'm based in the South of England, but would
consider relocating for a permanent post.

I've been using Ingres since 1992. I've done ABF development and been
a DBA for many years. I've contributed to data-structure design for
an application. I've managed upgrades, and data migrations between
servers.

In addition to my Ingres skills, I have used Oracle since 1997, also
the UniData DBMS, and the DataStage ETL utility. Obviously I've also
acquired a familiarity with basic office software and PC operating
systems, business writing, presentations, training and management
techniques.

Apart from the IT specialist and general office skills, I have worked
in library automation, on UK goverment social survey data, in
university health care research and on data about agricultural
pesticides. I've worked in academia, the Civil Service, and for a
multinational IT consultancy.

Although I am mainly an Ingres/Oracle specialist, I would consider any
technical role in IT.

On the plus side, I also omitted to mention that I've used MS SQL
Server 1999-2000.
