It usually goes like this...

1) I email tlc (AT) licensedesk (DOT) cai.com with subject and message body blank and
the .lrf file as an attachment
2) A few minutes later, I receive an automated acknowledgement
3) If I'm lucky I receive a licence file - usually weeks later. Sometimes I
get fed up and re-send the request, eventually it comes back.

Is it normal to have to wait so long? Am I doing anything wrong?

And which joker in CA thought up "tlc" as the address?

Yep, much the same experience as myself. Very annoying, waste of time.

We usually end up on the phone speaking to CA who then mail us a temp .olf,
which then is replaced sometime later with a permenant license file.
