David,

There is no journaling either. Journals are in fact written from the
transaction log file, so if there's no logging, there cannot be any
journaling.

Subject: [Info-Ingres] Journaling on a temprary global table

Hi
We use Inges 2.0 on VMS.

I know that logging is not performed on temporary global tables.
What about journaling ?

Nope. Apart from the fact that the journals are constructed by
harvesting the log file, you would need to terminate the session that
owns the table in order to roll it forward so there would be no table to
recover.

But perhaps you just want to audit it? Unfortunately you can't do that
either.
