Ingres & OpenJPA -

I am pleased to announce the inclusion of an Ingres "Dictionary" into
the OpenJPA project [1].
OpenJPA is the Apache implementaion of the Java Persistence API, for
mapping Java objects into a data store and manging the persistence
lifecycle, much like Hibernate.
This enables Ingres to be seamlessly used as a back end data store in
an OpenJPA environment by specifying a few parameters and ensuring the
Ingres JDBC driver is available.
Look at my blog[2] for a little bit more information.
Thanks
Alan
