Default Ingres Geospatial rekindled - 06-16-2011 , 06:28 PM

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to share some good news to those that might have missed
Steve Shine's announcement at the IUA.

You may be amused and informed by the following blog:
http://www.fosslc.org/drupal/content...-might-go-walk

All the best, and I'm looking forward to talking with many of you
again.

Andrew

P.S. The really interesting project now will be how to get the VW engine
to exploit the graphics accelerator chip for optimising special
calculations.

Hi Andrew,

Pretty good is the answer to that. Just getting over the UKIUA where my singing was a spectacular success.

Say whats up with those peaceful, tree hugging, hippy Canadians? When my football team loses I don't take to the streets in a riot to trash the hell out of our own city. What the hell happened?

There's a little known (outside of Canada) tradition in which mild mannered
Canadians lose their minds and rampage when their Hockey team loses. It, and
hockey in general are what let us maintain our mild mannered façade at other
times.

Sorry I missed the singing. I think. ;-)
