Does anyone know where I could obtain either the 2.6 or 2.7 client
from for Vista please.

We are rolling out Vista to our client base but infrastructure is
currently based on 2.5. Currently plan to test 9.4 Community client
shortly but would like a plan B of the official 2.6/2.7 client.

At one site we've got OR41sp3 + P10829 with its default Ingres net 2.5
installation on Vista. It is not officially supported but not had any
problems.

At several sites we have Vista OR41 MR1 + MR2 + P9355 + Ingres sp2.

OR2006 and Ingres 2006 of course have no problems on Vista.

For the pre 2006 releases you need to disable the extra security options on
Vista. You shouldn't have too much difficulty.

The biggest issue we had was the treatment of date/time field when was
mixing older Ingres 2.5 net with Ingres server 2006. And also we're still
trying to get to the bottom of a problem with date formatting in ODBC
drivers for crystal reports SQL selection.
