Default [Info-ingres] OpenROAD Question - SCP Name of a method - 10-24-2006 , 04:16 AM

Hi all,

Sorry to use the Ingres group for an OpenROAD question, but ...

OR 4.1 MR and OR 4.1 SP2

Where is the SCP Name for a method stored? In the Method Properties popup I
can tick the Generate SCP toggle and specify the SCP Name to generate. But
when I access the array of methods for the class, this information is not
held; ie. these values are not attributes of MethodObject.

How can I access the SCP Name for a method?

Hope this makes sense.

Regards,
James

OK, so I have determined that the SCP Name is actually stored in that
confounded ii_srcobj_encoded table. This means I can only access it thru
OpenROAD. Since it is not an attribute of MethodObject, and therefore an
attribute of an attribute of ClassSource, how is WorkBench accessing/saving
it?
