Any idea why each message is coming in the mail at least 4 times ?

No, but then that's not the problem I'm seeing. I get the list
delivered as a Digest - This morning their were 24 of them (and
probably should have been more as some numbers were missing....) -
However 20 of them were full of messages from Sep-Nov 2003...
