Yesterday was the third and final day of the biggest OpenROAD code sprint
ever. Apparently it has been a fantastic success with exciting
demonstrations of OpenROAD Mobile Apps, Application Server, Unicode and
VectorWise. Participants from Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Manila,
Germany, USA and Australia, were able to tinker under the hood of Workbench
and Runtime code. During the sprint, 3 enhancements were completed and will
soon be rolled into the main code line.
Here is a link which shows exercises the sprinters worked through:

If you attended, please feel free to post a quick note to give us your
thoughts about the 3 days.
Congratulations to all.

Subject: Asia-Pacific OR Code Sprint
Registrations have closed for the OpenROAD code sprint in Manila with 46
confirmed customers and partners attending (not including Ingres staff
facilitating the event). This is the biggest OpenROAD codesprint yet and it
confirms OpenROAD is very strong in the region.
Keep a watch at the community wiki for more news about the codesprint
projects. There will be an opportunity for all community members to
contribute from afar.
A big thanks needs to go to staff at Ingres Corp who are providing the venue
and logistics support and for spending time away from their families.
