I am writing a proposal and I got bored, so I dropped in to see how the
inmates were doing over in comp.databases.theory. As usual the nurses were
nowhere to be seen, and--as usual--it was pandemonium. However one of the
less insane characters poses this question, which made me laugh. (Well it
made me snigger actually, but close enough.)

As performance enhancements, should [secondary indexes] be sold via spam
email?
