Call for Community Award Nominees UK IUA 2010

At the 2009 UK IUA conference the UK IUA presented its Community
Service Award to Rick van der Lans, author of the SQL Guide to Ingres.

The Community Service Award is given to someone who has made a
noteworthy contribution to the Ingres Community. The Ingres Community
consists of all users of Ingres, OpenROAD, and any of the related
products and projects.

Nominations are now being accepted for this year's award. Please send
your nomination with a brief explanation of why you think your nominee
deserves the award, to award2010 (AT) iua (DOT) org.uk.

The winner will be chosen by jury from the nominees received by Friday,
May 21, 2010.

(1) UK IUA committee members are *not* eligible to receive the award.

(2) Eployees of Ingres, Luminary and other Ingres companies may be
nominated, but to win they would need to have made a contribution
vastly in excess of their basic duties.
