C API reference docs ...

Dear Group,

I'm investigating the dbms list for support of an application generation
product currently in development, and in the process, I'm looking at
(amoung various other DBMS's) Ingres.

Can anyone point me to a reference document which describes the C API
binding, and the SQL language as implemented in INGRES, preferably in .PDF
format which I am able to readily download???

I'd dig (Google) harder, but I figured in this group, someone already has
their fingers on such a doc, and would be willing to share it ...
