Default Windows 7 64 bit SQL and Schema viewer for IDS 11.50 - 12-02-2010 , 10:52 AM

Is there any utlity that I could use to run SQL and see the schema on
an IDS11.50 from windows 7 64 bit version either free or for little
money.

dbaccess is not good enough to see results

I have had xp so far and used Winsql which is relatively cheap but
it's not working anymore with the 64 bit ODBC driver and AGS Server
Studio is a bit expensive for me.

Any suggestion please?

Thank you,

I will try these tools that you are suggesting. It seems that OAT is a hit
out there.

Thank you very much!

Hello.
You could install OAT - OpenAdmin tool, it´s free, it´s on a web
front-end, and does much more than you said you need!
Try it.... http://www.openadmintool.org/

Best regards.

I will try that too. Actually I am having a tough time to get OAT installed
in 64 bit.

I prefer dbvis... but if you like winsql and the only problem is
the 64 bit driver why dont you use the 32 bit odbc instead?
It works ...

I got Winsql, OAT and DBvis all working. Sure OAT and DBVis give you
quite a bit more.

Yes, the key was to use the 32 bit driver and 32 bit ODBC manager
instead of the 64 bit manager.

New to windows 7 64 bit!

The only benefit of Winsql is that you can update based on the results
you get and it exports to excel as well. Maybe the others do but I
haven't figured out yet.

Thank you everyone,
