IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.50.FC4WE AIX 6.1.0.0.-1^2 Using onstat -g stq you can monitor the Stream Queue for the backup. I can control the number of buffers for onbar using BAR_NB_XPORT_COUNT For ontape I am only showing 4 Queues. How can I adjust or tune the number of Stream Queues for ontape? I remember John Miller III had a presentation about onstat -g stq. onstat -g stq output: IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.50.FC4WE -- On-Line -- Up 27 days 20:01:03 -- 7149584 Kbytes Stream Queue: (session 32087 cnt 4) *0:7000000c5c6f400 1:7000000cabad400 *2:7000000d4528400 *3:7000000cf100400 *Full Queue: *(cnt 3 *waiters 0) *0:0 *1:7000000cf100400 2:7000000c5c6f400 *Empty Queue: (cnt 0 *waiters 1) |

I believe it should. Jacques Renaut IBM Informix Advanced Support APD Team- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - |
